As a Senior Software Engineer focused on AI, you'll be responsible for designing, creating, maintaining, and enhancing software applications. You'll perform key tasks such as coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the development process. Your role will involve mentoring less experienced engineers, advocating for improvements, and collaborating with teams to achieve shared goals. You'll lead the integration of artificial intelligence into our technology, dramatically speeding up software development and transforming the developer experience.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research, design, implement, and manage user-centric software applications and tools with efficient, testable coding.
Utilize AI coding assistants to boost productivity and establish best practices for AI-assisted development.
Analyze and modernize existing applications by identifying areas for enhancement.
Develop and integrate AI models and LLM capabilities to improve functionality and user experience.
Act as an AI advocate, collaborating across teams to address challenges with impactful AI-driven solutions.
Investigate emerging AI technologies and assess their practical applications.
Establish consistent processes and standards for effective AI integration throughout the software development lifecycle.
Optimize AI algorithms for better performance and scalability.
Drive improvements in Developer Experience through AI innovations.
Adapt to changes within an Agile environment with a positive, solution-focused mindset.
Mentor teammates on AI adoption and Agile processes, fostering a proactive and solution-oriented culture.
Salary range for this role is: $160,000 - $180,000 Please note that we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this position. Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship. EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. EXPERIENCE: 5+ years of software engineering experience, including back-end technologies such as .Net and Python.
5+ years of experience with modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.
5+ years of experience with SQL and No-SQL database frameworks.
5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS and Azure.
3-5 years of experience with AI frameworks and solutions.
5+ years of experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
Experience integrating AI models into applications and optimizing AI algorithms.
COMPETENCIES SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/ABILITIES: Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and Cloud Design Patterns.
Advanced skills in prompt engineering with large language models.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and secure API architecture.
Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration tools for application deployment.
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Expertise in using AI coding assistants in a professional context.
Understanding of data preprocessing and model evaluation techniques.
Ability to lead change initiatives and influence engineering practices.
Excellent communication skills to explain complex issues clearly.
Analytical and creative problem-solving approach.
Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
