As an IT Business Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping people access the medications they need to feel better and live healthier lives. About the Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for addressing moderately complex system issues and leveraging the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies at Prime Therapeutics. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project associates to gather, define, and document the necessary requirements and technical solutions for our specialty application, ScriptMed. Key Responsibilities: Ensure clear understanding of business requirements and confirm acceptance criteria for IT Business Requirement Specification is met before sign-off. Document the scope of system enhancements for your assigned projects. Develop detailed work plans and estimations based on project scope, while managing prioritization and trade-off discussions with your project teams. Conduct interviews with stakeholders to understand and document their business needs for ScriptMed modifications and define both high-level and detailed requirements. Engage actively in discussions related to ScriptMed configuration solutions, ensuring a clear comprehension of requirements and agreement on system solutions. Facilitate solution design discussions between IT team members and business requestors to address queries regarding desired software changes. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing resources to review relevant test cases and scenarios. Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor junior staff within the Specialty IT team. Participate in continuous improvement efforts for team and system development processes. Facilitate Scrum events including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives while aiding the product owner in managing the product backlog. Monitor and report on project status, issues, and risks. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant work experience. Minimum of 2 years experience in functional system requirements analysis specifically related to ScriptMed. Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring a work visa or residency sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or healthcare with knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, PCI). Understanding of software development life cycle processes. Familiarity with Prime claims systems. Proficient in Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Work Environment: Ability to travel between Prime locations as needed. Willingness to work outside of standard hours if necessary. Frequent sitting and use of hands for handling or feeling tasks.
