About the Role:
As part of the AWS Managed Operations (MO) team, you will play a key role in reducing operational load through innovative engineering solutions. We are dedicated to improving the availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of AWS regions.

Work closely with business and software teams to grasp their requirements and enhance operational processes. Data Modeling:
Develop robust data models and architectures to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility. Data Pipeline Development:
Create and maintain efficient, scalable data pipelines for seamless data ingestion and transformation. Scalability:
Design scalable data solutions to manage increasing data volumes and enable high-performance access. Team Development:
Interview, mentor, and nurture the growth of Data Engineers within the organization. Documentation:
Maintain and enhance technical documentation consistently. Why AWS? Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, database engineering, or related fields. Proficiency in data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipeline development. Experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala, NodeJS). Proven track record in building and operating distributed systems for large data sets. Familiarity with software engineering best practices across the full development lifecycle. Preferred Qualifications: 7+ years of data engineering experience. Experience in incrementally building data products and managing data from diverse sources. Extensive knowledge of operating large data warehouses. Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus.
