Join our dynamic team as a Quality Assurance Engineer Level II, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our large-scale systems. In this position, you will:
Lead the testing process for extensive systems and create comprehensive test plans and cases.
Drive continuous improvements to our quality assurance processes utilizing Internet and Web technologies like Apache, HTTP, XML, HTML, Load Balancing, and DNS.
Develop tests using Java and Shell Scripts in a Linux environment.
Document and coordinate the implementation of both manual and automated tests for complex systems.
Test mobile device development kits and frameworks.
Design automated test cases for mobile device-based graphical user interfaces using automation frameworks such as VNC Robot and Java.
Conduct white and black box tests for large-scale, distributed software systems using Java.
Collaborate closely with engineers, business owners, and customer service teams throughout the development and testing lifecycle, focusing on requirements gathering and design.
Consult with project management and development teams on technical issues related to testing procedures.
Utilize functional specifications to plan, create, and finalize test plans, cases, and automated tests.
Provide detailed status reports on project progress, including the number of test cases executed, bugs found, and bugs resolved.
Location:
Dallas, Texas Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field. One year of experience in roles such as Programmer/Analyst, Quality Assurance Engineer, or Software Test Developer, or equivalent. Three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation may substitute for education requirements. Proficiency in developing tests for large-scale software systems using Java or Shell Scripts in a Windows, UNIX, or Linux environment.
