In this role, you will create a fantastic in-store shopping experience for our customers while expertly handling opening and closing procedures. Your key responsibilities will include: Executing opening and closing procedures, including balancing registers, preparing deposits, and activating the security system. Performing checkout overrides as necessary. Maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, checkout area, fitting room, and stockroom to promote a safe and welcoming environment. Adhering to company policies to ensure the safety of associates and customers. Assisting with product launch changes as per company SOP. Delivering outstanding customer service throughout the shopping experience. Processing transactions quickly and accurately to minimize customer wait times. Resolving customer service-related issues positively and escalating as needed, while keeping Store Management informed. Encouraging customers to participate in credit and loyalty member programs by explaining their benefits. Performing other essential tasks as directed by your supervisor. Required Experience and Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Experience: Minimum of 6 months relevant job experience preferred. Proficient in using technology, including iPads and registers. Must meet defined availability criteria, including nights, weekends, and flexible hours. Must meet physical requirements of the role. Critical Skills and Attributes: Previous retail experience is preferred. Strong customer service skills and ability to engage with customers. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with customers, the sales leadership team, and associates. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
