Key Responsibilities:
Utilize your expertise in business intelligence (BI) to implement comprehensive analytical solutions that integrate data from various sources.
Engage in data architecture discussions and provide performance improvement insights from a BI viewpoint.
Design, develop, analyze, test, and integrate web-based and client/server applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Visualize and conceptualize stakeholder requirements, creating Proofs of Concept (POCs) to meet business needs.
Review and recommend improvements to architecture changes, ensuring best practices are followed.
Proficiently use BI and ETL tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, and Amazon Quick Sight to craft interactive dashboards and perform real-time data analyses.
Leverage coding languages including SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Script, Java, and M Language, alongside databases like Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Netezza, AWS, and Teradata.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, proposing innovative solutions for enhanced data visualization and reporting performance.
Conduct data manipulation and analysis using statistical methods, deriving actionable insights that inform business strategy.
Design and implement impactful reporting solutions, enabling stakeholders to make informed decisions.
Monitor and propose new performance metrics, ensuring actionable intelligence is accessible across customer services.
Collaborate with business and development teams to draft comprehensive requirements and specifications.
Perform root cause analyses and Voice of Customer assessments to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and boost efficiency.
Combine analytics findings with other data sources for thorough root cause investigations.
Adhere to best practices in reporting, focusing on automation, data integrity, and meticulous documentation.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering, with deep expertise in BI tools like MicroStrategy, Quick Sight, or Tableau.
4 years of experience in performing root cause analysis and developing BI application requirements.
3 years of hands-on experience in designing enterprise BI solutions and working with ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, Shell Script, or Python for coding tasks.
2 years of experience with AWS services, including EC2 or S3.
Salary: $170,400/year. This position may include equity, sign-on bonuses, and additional compensation as part of a comprehensive benefits package.
