The Role
We are seeking a proactive and collaborative DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in supporting and scaling the infrastructure that drives our healthcare AI platform. You will engage in significant systems that enhance software delivery, cloud infrastructure, and observability while benefitting from mentorship from experienced team members and structured processes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with a solid foundation in DevOps, eager to grow in a high-impact environment with hands-on experience. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data, and ML teams across diverse locations.
Responsibilities
Configure and deploy cloud services across multiple cloud providers.
Manage Frontera's Cloud accounts on AWS and GCP, including application monitoring and support.
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable safe, rapid, and reliable software delivery.
Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
Oversee and scale containerized services with Docker and Kubernetes.
Monitor system performance, availability, and costs, implementing optimizations and improvements.
Ensure the reliability and uptime of our production environments through incident response and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with the ML team to deploy, monitor, and retrain machine learning models in production environments.
Lead initiatives on cloud cost reporting and optimization strategies.
Maintain system security, compliance, and adherence to best practices in DevSecOps.
Contribute to the development of internal tools that enhance developer productivity and observability.
Qualifications
3 - 5 years of experience in Software Engineering and Cloud DevOps (AWS/GCP).
Strong expertise in Terraform for managing cloud infrastructure as code.
Proficient in Python and scripting languages (e.g., Bash), focusing on operations automation.
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.
A pragmatic, ownership-oriented attitude with a drive to create meaningful systems.
Experience with modern CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Jenkins).
In-depth experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-native settings.
Strong foundational knowledge of system administration, networking, and cloud security best practices.
Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, Prometheus, or similar.
Preferred: Hands-on experience deploying and supporting machine learning models in a production setting.

Our expected salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 USD, based in Denver. This range considers several factors, including experience, knowledge, education, skills, and abilities.
