As a Database Consultant in our Professional Services Team, you will engage with customers to tackle complex data challenges and help organizations leverage cloud computing web services effectively. Your role will involve:
Collaborating with customers and partners on key projects to develop and deliver proof-of-concept initiatives and technical workshops.
Facilitating the migration of customer environments to AWS cloud-based database platforms.
Consulting on solutions for high volume mission-critical OLTP/OLAP environments, batch data processing, and designing petabyte-scale data warehouses.
Working with AWS services such as RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
In this role, you’ll also:
Employ customer-facing skills to represent AWS effectively and engage with customers’ technical teams for customized solutions.
Analyze on-premises database environments and recommend optimizations for transitioning to AWS.
Engage in the re-hosting, upgrading, and re-factoring of database platforms for AWS.
Develop innovative and strategic solutions to complex business and technology challenges.
