Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and software, requires technical skill and careful planning. We need an experienced network engineer who can develop the exact network the DoD needs. Responsibilities Develop algorithms for models related to traditional circuit switched networks, data networks, wireless systems, and protocols. Analyze current infrastructures to increase security, reliability, and availability. Optimize client operations and modernization based on industry standards. Support national security missions with your expertise in network protocols, equipment, and emerging technologies. Qualifications 10+ years of experience in networking or telecommunications systems. Experience developing algorithms for network models. Data gathering and performance analysis skills. High-level design experience for network systems. TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph. Bachelor's degree. Preferred Skills Network resource management experience. Procedures development for technical problem-solving. Additional Information Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility for access to classified information. The salary range is $77,600 to $176,000 annually.
