About the Role This opportunity is ideal for: An Associate Veterinarian seeking to transition into multi-site leadership A seasoned DVM ready to expand their reach and mentor rising professionals The role offers the best of both worlds : staying hands-on in clinical care while helping shape the future of veterinary medicine through leadership. Key Responsibilities Champion Clinical Excellence Deliver excellent veterinary care with 75-100% of your time dedicated to patients Perform procedures, see clients, and develop a strong local following Provide real-time case support and surgical/dental mentorship to fellow DVMs Lead initiatives to streamline operations and elevate client experiences Build a Positive Veterinary Community Promote a collaborative, inclusive hospital culture Work alongside the Regional Director to align goals and execute strategy Assist in recruiting outstanding DVM talent with the Talent Relations Team Guide new graduate veterinarians through professional development and mentorship Drive Operational & Clinical Success Improve hospital scheduling, efficiency, and patient flow Assess and respond to staffing needs, resource gaps, and clinic metrics Participate in budget planning , performance reviews, and goal setting Ensure Compliance & Quality Conduct hospital quality inspections and audits Monitor DEA logs and ensure all regulatory standards are met What You'll Bring Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent) Active veterinary license in the state(s) served 3-5 years of clinical experience DEA license registration (if applicable) Strong leadership presence: empathetic, confident, and team-oriented Willingness to travel locally to supported hospitals ( company-paid travel) Time Allocation & Travel 75-100% of your time will be clinical , working alongside the team and caring for patients Remaining time is for mentoring, compliance checks, hiring, and performance reviews Travel between hospitals in the South Georgia region is required Schedule & Compensation 4-day work week Production-based pay (ProSal or Salary) -your clinical work directly impacts earnings Compensation & Benefits Flexible compensation model : Straight Salary or ProSal Paid travel and housing Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance 3 weeks PTO + 6 weeks paid parental leave 401(k) match Generous CE allowance + Paid CE days Paid state licensing fees and professional dues Short-term & long-term disability and life insurance PLIT coverage (Professional Liability Insurance) Pet care discounts Access to DVM-only messaging boards for clinical collaboration Mentorship-focused culture About the Organization This partner hospital group is driven by a relationship-based approach that empowers its team to deliver exceptional veterinary care.
