What You'll Do:
As an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will work both independently and as part of a team to conduct maintenance activities on electrical and mechanical systems in our automated cold storage facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance on systems such as conveyors, palletizers, and cranes.
Troubleshooting and conducting overhauls/rebuilds to optimize system performance.
Maintaining accurate records of work performed using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
Ensuring a clean work area and performing necessary housekeeping duties.
Collaborating on continuous improvement activities and related tasks as assigned.
What Experience and Education You Need:
To be considered for this role, you should have:
3-7 years of experience in maintaining electro-mechanical systems in an automated setting or equivalent.
Certification as a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) is preferred.
Formal training in relevant fields is advantageous.
What Could Set You Apart:
In addition to your experience, possessing the following skills and knowledge will be beneficial:
Familiarity with Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Understanding of electrical safety, lubrication principles, and power transmission.
Knowledge of 3-phase electrical systems and component troubleshooting.
Proficiency with sensors, safety devices, and electrical wiring.
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems like SAP or Oracle.
Physical Requirements:
The position requires the ability to:
Engage in physical activities, including sitting for extended periods, bending, and reaching.
Conduct manual dexterity tasks associated with typical office work.
Travel as necessary, including visiting facilities in cold environments.
