Entry-Level Phlebotomist , you will have numerous opportunities for learning and professional development within our donation centers. What You Will Do: Ensure all operations comply with state and federal regulations, maintaining high production standards. Deliver exceptional customer service and create a positive donor experience. Keep your work area clean and professional. Verify donor identification and maintain confidentiality. Prepare and set up all necessary equipment for venipuncture and plasmapheresis. Accurately label each unit and sample. Perform venipunctures and plasma collections, upholding the highest safety and quality standards. Operate and troubleshoot automated plasmapheresis machines. Monitor donor conditions to ensure comfort and safety. Handle biohazardous waste and ensure proper disposal protocols are followed. Maintain equipment, including calibrations and routine maintenance. Report unsafe situations to management. Stock and maintain adequate inventory of supplies. Participate in training and compliance efficiency initiatives. Perform additional job-related tasks as assigned. What It Takes: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Certification or licensing as per state requirements preferred. At least three months of experience in a medical or healthcare setting is desirable. Strong customer service skills and the ability to follow written and verbal protocols. Basic computer skills and competence in documentation. Ability to read and interpret safety regulations and operating manuals. Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Availability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
