Pay Range:
$16.40 - $21.20 Purpose:
Join our dynamic team as a Sales Associate at Floor & Decor, where you will play a crucial role in delivering friendly and knowledgeable service to customers as they select products for their projects. Bring your passion for learning and helping others to our energetic sales floor. We have both Full-Time and Part-Time positions available. Qualities We Look For: Friendly and enthusiastic Entrepreneurial and hard-working Honest and accountable Excellent communication and listening skills Essential Job Functions: Engage with customers to understand their project needs, recommending our products and generating excitement about their purchases. Provide outstanding customer service by going above and beyond to exceed expectations. Maintain assigned areas, ensuring they are stocked, clean, shoppable, and safe for our customers. Collaborate with team members and management to reach sales goals. Operate the point of sale (POS) system to process customer transactions efficiently. Handle customer refunds and exchanges in compliance with company guidelines. Create price tags and signage for merchandise; stock and display products effectively. Embody the company’s core values in all interactions. Adhere to safety processes and maintain a safe working environment. Answer the phone according to company protocols. Assist in various areas of the store as necessary. Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Minimum Eligibility Requirements: Must be 18 years or older. Basic math skills are essential. Prior customer service experience is preferred. Able to multitask and work well under pressure. Some roles may require forklift certification through Floor & Decor, and passing a drug test may be necessary where permissible by state law. Working Conditions:
You may be exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level is typically quiet to moderate. Physical/Sensory Requirements:
Ability to lift or exert force of 30-60 pounds occasionally and/or 20-30 pounds frequently. Must frequently use hands and fingers, stand, walk, reach, and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
