Join CNO Financial Group as a Senior IT Identity Security Architect and play a crucial role in shaping the security architecture for our organization. This is an exciting opportunity to enhance and maintain access governance processes while ensuring the security of enterprise information. As a Senior IT Identity Security Architect, you will: Create security architecture standards for adopting new technologies. Assess security risks related to IT and enterprise projects, providing design requirements. Collaborate with business representatives and IT leaders to develop an information security strategy. Develop management reporting dashboards that reflect information security risk and exposure metrics. Identify and recommend changes to existing security policies and procedures as necessary. Provide subject matter expertise to technology teams and security projects. Evaluate and recommend security technologies while performing third-party security risk assessments, especially for cloud services. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including SOX, PCI, HIPAA/HITECH. To be successful in this role, you should possess: A bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field. A minimum of three years as a security architect or in a related position. At least ten years of progressive IT experience. In-depth knowledge of information security practices, including standards like PCI and SOX. A strong understanding of security frameworks such as NIST and ISO27001. Experience in implementing security at various technology layers: application, network, and operating system. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with senior leadership and translate technical jargon into business terms. Preferred qualifications include a CISSP certification or other relevant credentials, and a location within the Central or Eastern U.S. time zones is preferred, or the willingness to align with these hours. This position is located at CNO Financial Group, with offices in Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Orlando, and Milwaukee. The company offers a competitive salary range of $127,800 - $191,800 annually along with an attractive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plans, and more.
