The Prime Video International Expansion Business Intelligence team aims to enhance customer experience through data-driven marketing, product, and content decisions by providing analytical solutions and actionable insights. We are seeking a skilled, curious, resourceful, and experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to support our product and technology teams in developing new insights into our products and internal tools, ultimately improving both external and internal customer experiences. Key Responsibilities As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams to leverage data for strategic decision-making and establish reporting capabilities for our international streaming service. Your main duties will include: Setting goals, planning, defining metrics, tracking progress, and overcoming obstacles to meet objectives. Gathering business and functional requirements and translating them into scalable, robust solutions within our data architecture. Designing reporting structures and dashboards to communicate organizational progress against goals effectively. Utilizing database and reporting tools such as SQL, ETL, Redshift, Quicksight, and Tableau to create impactful analyses and reports. Managing the full development lifecycle from design and implementation to testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 8+ years of professional or military experience. 5+ years of SQL experience. Experience with extracting, transforming, and cleaning large multi-terabyte datasets. Knowledge of experimental design and statistical analysis. Proficiency with AWS technologies. Automation scripting experience (e.g., Python) and advanced SQL skills. Understanding of data science, machine learning, and data mining concepts. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to align data solutions with business needs. Proven ability to analyze data and communicate results to senior leadership. Experience developing metrics, measures, and reporting solutions. Skills in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Quicksight. Compensation varies by geographic location, with base salaries ranging from $117,300 to $202,800 per year, depending on market, experience, and skills.
