Responsibilities: Conduct research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software to support large-scale components. Create new features and optimize existing products for improved performance. Tackle diverse challenges by designing core backend software components. Manage data storage, synchronization, and coordination of extensive server clusters for the seamless operation of frontend code. Perform design and code reviews to ensure quality and efficiency. Analyze and enhance the efficiency, scalability, and stability of system resources. Complete medium to large features independently, from conception to delivery. Implement necessary changes to improve codebase, product areas, and systems. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, or related fields with 3 years of progressive experience in software engineering. 3 years of proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, C#, Hack, or similar. Experience in developing infrastructure applications or relevant large-scale systems in a corporate or startup setting. Demonstrated ability to design and execute medium to large features independently. Expertise in Python, PHP, or Haskell, along with relational databases and SQL. Familiarity with software development tools, including code editors (VIM or Emacs) and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce). Experience in Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like operating systems, including basic file manipulation and command execution. Skills in designing highly scalable and efficient solutions, with a strong grasp of distributed systems principles. Ability to apply core computer science algorithms and concepts to real-world problems. Public Compensation:
