Industry Telecommunications Company Type Privately Held About the Role Join our dynamic team as the Senior Vice President of Information Security, where you will have the opportunity to shape and elevate our cybersecurity framework. In this strategic role, you will craft and implement a comprehensive security strategy designed to protect our invaluable digital assets, ensure compliance with regulations, and support our continuous growth trajectory. You will be at the forefront of the organization’s cybersecurity efforts, leading initiatives such as enterprise-wide information security strategy design, regular risk assessments, and robust security operations including monitoring, threat intelligence, and incident response. Your key responsibilities will also include managing vendor security risks, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization, and staying ahead of emerging cyber threats by recommending advanced security tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, or a related field, with a Master’s degree being highly preferred. You should possess a minimum of 7 years’ experience in telecom, broadband, or similarly regulated IT environments, including at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on cybersecurity. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and a strong grasp of enterprise security architecture and operations is essential. Professional certifications such as CISSP or CISM will give you an added advantage. Exceptional leadership, communication, and analytical skills are vital, as you will be responsible for reporting on the performance of the security program to executive leadership.
