Job Duties and Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing to participate in at least one in-person interview, which may include a live whiteboarding or technical assessment session.

The Product Owner champions the customer and business stakeholders, aligning technical teams with objectives within an agile AI delivery squad. They define business needs, prioritize the product backlog, and manage the AI initiative pipeline, emphasizing collaborative, paired development. The PO optimizes squad capacity for maximum value delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Define business needs via stakeholder collaboration, articulating AI solution requirements

Prioritize the product backlog based on value, goals, and capacity, focusing on paired data scientist/engineer initiatives

Manage the AI initiative pipeline, balancing long-term goals with immediate needs, promoting early production integration

Write and accept Epics as the primary value unit of decomposed value.

Collaborate with the team on User Story creation

Communicate the product vision and roadmap, emphasizing paired programming's impact on faster deployment

Monitor product performance, driving improvements via data insights, focusing on deployment speed and maintainability

Manage stakeholder expectations, balancing priorities with feasibility, advocating for collaborative development

Monitor ROI, ensuring maximum value within budget, considering paired programming efficiencies

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field

5+ years of experience in product owner role, focusing on data-driven/AI/ML solutions, ideally in agile

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong understanding of agile/scrum, including paired programming principles

Proven ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively with technical and business teams

Experience managing product backlogs and delivering value via prioritized, paired development

Ability to make data-driven decisions and analyze performance metrics, including code quality/deployment efficiency

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $158,125.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
