Role Summary: The Class B Driver is responsible for safely transporting residents to appointments and outings using community vehicles, including buses, vans, limousines, sedans, and trams. This role involves providing appropriate assistance to residents throughout their excursions. Note:
This position requires a Class B license with a passenger endorsement. Responsibilities: Transport residents safely and efficiently to various locations. Assist residents as needed during outings. Perform operational driving tasks with care and professionalism. Qualifications: At least 6 months of experience as a bus or van driver. Valid and current driver’s license matching the class of vehicle being driven upon hire. Willingness to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Current CPR and First Aid certifications are mandatory. High School diploma or GED equivalent required. Maintain a clean driving record with the DMV. Familiarity with the local neighborhoods is a plus. Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to address the needs of older adults. Client-focused approach to problem-solving and goal setting. Sensitivity to the needs of older adult residents. Possession of a Class B Driver's License is essential. Pay Range:
USD $24.48 - USD $29.99 /Hr.
