As a Lead Java Full-Stack Developer within the CVS Health PSS IT team, you will take on a key role providing technical leadership to a dynamic product team of 8-10 engineers. Your responsibilities will include: Building high-quality, user-friendly products that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders. Providing input to the product roadmap and influencing technical design choices. Overseeing engineering practices and guiding the product build through agile software development methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe. Participating in all phases of product development, from discovery and design through iterative delivery. Maintaining a user-centered design approach that prioritizes business needs. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of Java development principles and agile practices. The ability to work from the office, as per corporate guidelines, is required. Required Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in large-scale distributed software design, particularly in a J2EE environment, with significant leadership experience. 4+ years of front-end development experience using Angular 8+ and NgRx. 4+ years of experience in implementing REST services using Java and Spring Boot. 3+ years of experience in an Agile development environment utilizing Continuous Integration (CI/CD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD). Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineering resources. Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with the PBM business domain. Experience deploying applications on cloud platforms such as Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. However, a High School diploma with equivalent experience may be accepted (2 years of professional work experience for each year of college not completed in addition to the required years of experience). Compensation: The typical pay range for this role is between $118,450.00 and $236,900.00 annually, based on various factors such as experience and education. This position is eligible for bonuses, short-term incentives, and an equity award program.
