Eligible for a new hire sign-on bonus! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to prepare medications under the guidance of a pharmacist. Key responsibilities include: Measuring, mixing, counting, labeling, and recording medication dosages based on prescription orders. Engaging in unit dose dispensing, IV admixtures, and compounding within our medical center. Assisting in ensuring the functionality of equipment and supporting routine maintenance and repairs. Contributing to pharmaceutical care by adhering to established regulations and standards. Utilizing good written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively. Supporting billing-related functions and departmental quality assurance initiatives. Promoting and maintaining a safe working environment in compliance with state laws and regulations. To thrive in this role, you will need proficiency in various computer programs as you adapt to the evolving pharmacy landscape. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Must be at least 18 years old and possess active pharmacy technician registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy. New registrants must complete a Sanford-provided pharmacy technician training program within 12 months of registration.
