Senior Network Infrastructure Engineer

As a vital part of the Enterprise Systems Team, you will enhance and maintain our client's network and audio/visual infrastructure. You will manage a diverse environment of computing hardware and software platforms. Reporting to the Manager of Networking, you'll collaborate with technical leads and work towards implementing innovative network solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Maintaining network hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, WAN optimizers, and more. Overseeing network services like DNS and DHCP. Using monitoring tools like NetQos, Extrahop, and Orion. Providing excellent customer support with a focus on service reliability and efficiency. Completing ongoing network maintenance and troubleshooting. Collaborating with software and infrastructure teams to align on network needs. Ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations. This senior role requires strong networking skills, excellent customer service, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your expertise will help guide the team's efforts in achieving their goals. Additional hours may be required outside of core working times and some travel could be necessary. Qualifications: Proficient in heavy switching with Cisco Catalyst/Nexus. Experience with ASA or Pix Firewall, including creating and managing firewall rules. Required F5 Load Balancing experience. Familiarity with DHCP/DNS using Infoblox and basic understanding of HTTP codes. Experience with IPv6 is desirable. Education/Experience: A college degree or equivalent experience is required. 5+ years of hands-on network infrastructure experience. Demonstrated experience with Cisco firewalls, switches, routers, VPN, and wireless technologies. Strong understanding of routing protocols, DNS, and DHCP. Proficient in Linux and/or Windows environments. Excellent troubleshooting skills with a collaborative spirit. Experience with network monitoring tools and infrastructure design is preferred. Experience with WAN optimizers, IPS, and NAC is a plus. Cisco Video Teleconferencing experience is beneficial.
