The Mission
Leidos is seeking a Splunk Administrator/Developer to join a significant IC/DoD customer contract. In this role, you will provide design support for a comprehensive Splunk environment focusing on security, performance, and operational roles. You will also support the visualization development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, data correlation, user dashboard development, Splunk App integration, and configuration, ultimately delivering dashboards that provide actionable insights for administrators and decision-makers.

Primary Tasks:
Develop and customize Splunk apps and dashboards.
Create advanced visualizations using ITSI and glass tables.
Integrate contextual data into actionable visualizations.
Engage with end users to gather requirements effectively.
Coordinate with O&M Service Lanes regarding data collection and monitoring requirements.
Mentor users and groups on the effective use of Splunk.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with minimal supervision, and utilize Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint effectively.

Extensive experience in implementing Splunk Dashboards.
Work experience in an enterprise network environment.
Experience supporting ITSI for enterprise monitoring.
Familiarity with Splunk apps and add-ons.
Experience utilizing DBConnect and REST API for data collection from external systems/databases.
Integration experience with external monitoring solutions like SolarWinds, Microsoft SCOM, NMMI, and NetScout.
Possession of Splunk Certification for Administration or Development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience implementing integrations with external systems.
Familiarity with Intelligence Community/DoD enterprise systems and networks.
Experience integrating with IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions like ServiceNow.
Knowledge of automated alerting and reporting.
Education
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 6 years, Associate's with 10 years, or a High School Diploma with 12 years.
Clearance
U.S. Citizenship is required due to government contract obligations.
Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance is required or TS/SCI with potential to obtain and maintain a specific polygraph.
Certifications
Must meet DoDM 8140.03 (previously DoD 8570) IT System Admin Intermediate certification requirements, including Cloud+, GICSP, SSCP, Security+ CE, GSEC, or higher. Systems administrator certifications include FITSP-O, GFACT, CASP+, CCNP Security, or CCSP.
