System Administrator
to join our team in
Southlands, Colorado .
This position supports the ELINT Modernization effort and is part of a collaborative team delivering systems engineering, software development, testing, and configuration management services.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems Manage IT infrastructure and ensure system availability and performance Perform day-to-day system monitoring, operations, and problem resolution Diagnose and resolve issues at Tier 1 and Tier 2 support levels Configure and manage UNIX/Linux operating systems and install/load OS software Optimize system operations and perform resource utilization and capacity analysis Perform system backups, disaster recovery, and service restoration procedures Update and migrate servers to newer software versions Implement OS enhancements to improve system reliability and performance
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of related experience; an additional 5 years of related experience might be substituted for a degree Security+ certification Experience with troubleshooting and maintaining enterprise IT systems Experience managing and optimizing UNIX/Linux environments (installation, patching, performance tuning) Experience providing incident identification, analysis, and resolution Experience with executing security backups, recovery, and OS enhancement tasks Experience with updating and migrating servers and services Experience with maintaining detailed records, technical documentation, and change logs
Preferred Qualifications:
Operating Systems: CentOS, AIX, Solaris, RHEL Tools & Platforms: NiFi, Docker, Putty, VMWare, OpenStack, Cisco Orchestration & Development: Kubernetes, Tibco, ClearCase, Git, Ratchet Agile development methodologies Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence) Security Clearance Requirements
Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph,
Physical Requirements
Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 50% of the time Frequently operates computers and standard office productivity tools Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers, and leadership-may include delivering presentations Occasional travel may be required for hardware upgrades and updates
