CDL-A Regional Drivers - Hiring in Columbus, GA 31901
If you're an experienced CDL-A driver, Rouse Trucking has a regional position that offers consistent miles, true home time, and late-model equipment that keeps you rolling.
What This Job Offers: Our regional drivers average $1,250 to $1,450/week, running 2,500-2,600 miles per week. You'll be out for 7-9 days at a time, and earn 1 full day off for every 7 days you're out in addition to a rolling weekly reset. Your time off doesn't begin until the day after you get home - so you're not losing hours the second you park.
No-touch freight
makes up the majority of your hauls, with 85-90% drop and hook efficiency. You'll never run to NYC, keeping your routes clean and manageable.
Equipment You Can Count On: We put you in a Kenworth T680 automatic with Smart Idle, 1500-watt inverter, double bunk, bunk heater, and a brand-new mattress. These trucks are serviced every six months to reduce breakdowns and keep your wheels turning.
Driver Support Network: You'll have access to 30+ terminals across the U.S. Many of these locations include truck washes, gyms, and laundry so you can stay sharp and comfortable while on the road.
Compensation Doesn't Stop at Mileage: We also have accessorial pay, plus:
Detention pay : $16/hour after 2 hours
Layover pay : $125 per day after 48 hours
Holiday pay : $60 per day
Optional Hazmat
Per diem available
Benefits:
United Healthcare starting at 60 days, and 401(k) with company match at 90 days through Fidelity. Orientation is 3 days long and held in Joplin, Dallas, or Atlanta, and we cover travel with a rental car or bus ticket.
There's no fluff here. Just a solid regional run that gives you the kind of home time you can actually plan around, in equipment that won't leave you stranded, backed by a team that understands what it means to live life on the road. We don't overpromise, and we don't underdeliver - because we know your time is valuable and your paycheck matters. With consistent miles, flexible home time, paid extras, and access to terminals that support your lifestyle, this is a role built for drivers who want to run smart, not just hard. If you're looking for a carrier that respects your experience and keeps you moving without the runaround - this is your lane.
