Our Dallas, TX office is hiring for an Associate Estate Planner. The role involves reviewing client estate plans, providing comprehensive estate planning services, developing new business, and supporting our advisors and financial planning team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering excellent client service, with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will join a team of dynamic, collaborative professionals committed to our core values: Integrity, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Inclusion, and Connection. Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 plus annual bonus Responsibilities
Prepare estate reviews, review documents, and present summaries to clients and advisors. Advise clients on estate tax planning, wealth and business succession, charitable planning, and trust tax planning. Coordinate with attorneys and law firms for estate document drafting. Conduct training sessions for the firm and planning team. Support business development and client retention efforts. Represent the estate planning department in marketing initiatives, seminars, articles, and blogs. Collaborate with the financial planning team to incorporate estate planning concepts into financial plans. Coordinate with outside professionals on estate planning recommendations, including life insurance, business valuations, and special trusts. Perform additional duties to support firm growth and client satisfaction. Adhere to company policies with focus on quality, compliance, and consistency. Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) and licensed by the State Bar. At least 2 years of estate planning experience; litigation experience is a plus. Knowledge of state property tax law. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software (Salesforce). Excellent communication and public speaking skills. Attention to detail, reliability, and strong follow-through. Self-motivated with sound judgment and a positive attitude. Strong client relations and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
