Closing Date: Until Filled Primary Purpose:
Perform on-site technical work to install and maintain computer equipment and network and software applications throughout the district or at assigned campus. Respond to work order requests by diagnosing and repairing network and computer hardware.
Preferred:
Network Administrator Experience Applicants should have a working knowledge in managing and supporting administration, maintenance, and security of the district's network infrastructure. Duties could include configuring and troubleshooting servers, firewalls, switches, and wireless systems; managing user access and data backups; ensuring network reliability and cybersecurity; and supporting staff with connectivity issues. Collaborates with IT and instructional staff to ensure technology supports educational goals.
Third-Party Integration Experience Applicants should have a working knowledge in managing and supporting the integration of third-party educational and administrative software with district systems. Works closely with vendors, instructional staff, and IT to ensure seamless data flow between platforms.
Qualifications: Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Clear and valid driver's license
Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of computer workstation setup (identify requirement-i.e., Novell workstation) Knowledge of computer hardware and software applications Ability to install, maintain, and repair computers and peripherals Ability to install and maintain network cables and hardware Ability to diagnose problems and perform repairs
Experience: One year of work experience installing, maintaining, and repairing computers and peripherals
