School Psychologist (PSY) - School - (PSY - School)
Start Date: 8/25/2025 | Available Shifts: 6.5 D | Pay Rate: $1817.70 - $1991.73 AMN Healthcare is partnering with a top school district in Boston, Massachusetts, to hire a School Psychologist to work in the area, providing services to children of all ages. This role involves providing counseling services to students on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and to the general student population, addressing issues such as mood disorders, autism, anxiety, depression, ADHD, social skill deficits, and conduct disorders. The goal is to foster positive coping strategies, motivation, and skill development. Responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ needs and strengths, developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans, providing individual and group counseling, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators, providing crisis intervention, and supporting outreach activities involving pediatricians, counseling agencies, and social services like DCF and DMH. Required Qualifications
Master’s or Doctoral Degree in School Psychology State Certification and/or Licensure Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a school setting Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams Proficiency in assessment tools and techniques used in educational settings Knowledge of child development, learning theories, and behavioral interventions Facility Location
