POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Communications Project Manager (CPM) manages various pre-sale and production activities within Engagement Communications, Marketing Communications, the corporation, and outside suppliers. This results in the presentation, creation, production, and implementation of quality, creative, and effective communications materials for Engagement Communication’s internal and external clients. POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism, or English, or equivalent work experience. Minimum three (3) years’ experience as Traffic Manager or Production Manager with an advertising agency, design studio, or similar setting. Ability to create order out of chaos and thrive in dynamic environments. Excel in both creative vision and logical execution. Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale projects effectively. Knowledge of communication methods, styles, and techniques, including print production, web development, and research/purchasing. Advanced computer skills, including project management software and Microsoft Office programs. Ability to review and critique own work before presenting to internal or external stakeholders. Positive attitude and ability to influence creative and professional staff positively. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong time management and organizational skills. Understanding of financial analysis and budget development. Ability to handle multiple priorities, manage workflows, and assist in scheduling, even under stress. Good listening skills and customer service experience preferred. Willingness to work necessary hours to meet deadlines.
