Mid-level Litigation Associate

Job Overview: A prominent law firm is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate with 3–5 years of experience to join its Orange County office. The ideal candidate will support both labor and employment litigation as well as broader business litigation matters. This opportunity offers substantive work, including motion practice, depositions, and client interaction, in a collaborative and high-performing legal environment. Location: In-office or hybrid depending on firm policy Duties: Handle labor and employment litigation matters including single-plaintiff cases and wage & hour class/representative actions Manage business litigation cases from inception to resolution Draft and respond to written discovery Manage electronic discovery and document review Prepare and argue motions in state and federal court Take and defend depositions Provide employment-related advice and counsel to clients Collaborate with team members on trial preparation and case strategy Requirements: 3–5 years of litigation experience, including employment and litigation Ideal candidates should have experience in employment litigation, including single plaintiff and wage and hour class and representative actions, and employment advice and counsel. Significant experience with discovery, depositions, and motion practice Ability to manage multiple cases and meet tight deadlines in a team-oriented environment Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications: Active and in good standing with the California State Bar Skills: Excellent legal writing and analytical skills Strong oral advocacy and public speaking abilities Highly organized with strong attention to detail Team player with the ability to work collaboratively Prior trial experience or judicial clerkship preferred Background in a large law firm is a plus Professional development and training opportunities Supportive and collaborative firm culture Comcast brings together the best in media and technology.
