RA Hyman Restoration, Inc. is a privately-owned general contractor that specialize in insurance reconstruction. We concentrate our professional practice on restoring properties (both residential and commercial) that have been damaged or destroyed by fire, flood, or storm.
Candidates will be required to write an estimate using Xactimate before being consider for the position
This job required experience in major reconstruction and large losses. Candidate must know Xactimate, residential construction and remodel. Familiar with local building codes and IRC and also have knowledge with the insurance claim process.
Salary :
$65,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year (Based on Experience) Qualifications : MUST read and understand construction drawings and terminology. 5+ year in Xactimate construction (Required) 5+ years estimating residential and commercial construction projects (Required) MS Word Excel, Outlook, smart phone, and basic office tools Working knowledge of ICC / IRC Build Code. Very strong negotiation and communication skills Organize, multi-task and problem solver. Self-motivating and work independently. Must be able to sell and close contracts. Ability to be flexible with working hours and must be available on-call when required. Must be able to physically lift (50 lbs.) climb and kneel. Must have a valid driver’s license. Candidate must always maintain a well-groomed and professional appearance. Located in Maryland, DC or Northern Virginia Key Duties / Responsibilities : Meet with new potential customer to conduct onsite inspection. Create an accurate sketch and scope of work using Xactimate Software Provide a thorough and accurate estimate to clients and adjusters in a timely manner. Communicate with field manager and adjusters for supplemental approvals and change orders. Negotiate an agreed upon scope and price to secure contracts with client and adjuster. Explain estimate regarding the scope of work to client and adjuster. Manager customers concerns and expectations. Develop and cultivate new business relationships and maintain existing relationships with key decision makers : adjusters, agents, and clients. Job Type :
