Job Description

The videographer will work within production software to produce short-to-long-form video content designed for specific placement on WARCOMM social platforms. Expert-level skills are required in video editing, camera function, camera handling, mobile captures, and production software (i.e., Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects). The videographer can produce products in a timely manner following a scheduled plan or produce items quickly in a fast-paced environment if asked. The ideal applicant can adapt to low- and high-temperature environments to expertly capture A-roll and B-roll of subjects, expertly capturing footage that tells a story. The videographer is willing to travel to foreign countries and remote environments, adapting to low light and environmental changes to troubleshoot camera functions, ensuring proper exposure for footage capture. The videographer shows excellent collaboration skills, a solution-based attitude, the ability to work with people with diverse skills and backgrounds, and the ability to build and manage strong relationships with a diverse client base.

Required Skills

Must have Bachelor’s Degree at a minimum Excellent storytelling skills (+3 years) Knowledge of camera function and postproduction software (+3 years) Experience in content creation, execution and editing (+3 years) DoD or Air Force knowledge (+1 year)

Preferred Skills

Strong aptitude to understand analyze and communicate complex problems with attention to detail (1 + year) Able to self-teach new technical and nontechnical concepts (1+ year)

Film content for Air Force Civil Engineers (40%) Edit video content for social media platforms (40%) Collaborate with AF and DoD functional experts and stakeholders (20%)

Travel Requirement

This position requires (30%) travel CONUS & OCONUS
