This position supports a renovation project in the Washington, DC area. Job Responsibilities The Program Manager - Construction will oversee the renovation project, ensuring client objectives are met and challenges addressed effectively. The responsibilities include: Ensuring timely deliverables per client requirements, conducting engineering analyses, overseeing report generation, and maintaining quality assurance of all submissions. Maintaining ongoing relationships with government clients, teaming partners, subcontractors, and project assistants. Organizing and developing programs aligned with the organization’s strategic goals, including creating and managing long-term objectives, program controls, governance, and standards. Developing and monitoring budgets, conducting requirements analysis, resource allocation, project costing, and financial data monitoring. Applying industry best practices to achieve optimal contract performance. Identifying and mitigating project risks to prevent delays and cost overruns. Job Requirements Qualifications include: Bachelor of Science in engineering or architecture-related field. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Architectural Engineer. At least 10 years of program management experience, including federal programs (e.g., EPA, FEMA, HUD), managing government projects valued from $100k to $1M, and managing IDIQ contracts. Minimum of 5 years in construction project management. Proficiency in MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar project management software. ICC Commercial Building Inspector Certification is preferred. Reliable transportation and ability to work in Washington, DC, and Ashburn, VA. Must be a U.S. citizen.
