Contract Job Description
Minimum of 8 years of supply chain domain experience with knowledge of Manhattan WMS, specifically WM 2018 and above. Role involves acting as a Senior Business Analyst. At least 3 years of experience with WM Active. Experience in supply chain, with functional knowledge of distribution and 3PL logistics across various retail industries such as apparel & fashion, specialty retailing, grocery, and general merchandising, is a plus. Responsible for software development in an agile environment, including requirements definition, solution design, functional specifications, and implementation of WMS solution extensions and integrations. Experience with transportation management systems for multi-carrier parcel, LTL, and TL shipping systems is desirable. Experience in interface mapping with upstream and downstream systems. Lead projects from inception to delivery as a subject matter expert, maintaining strong client relationships during and after design engagements. Translate business processes and requirements into specific software requirements, including BRDs and GAP analysis, and actively participate in development, setup, configuration, and delivery. Participate in integration meetings to determine system requirements and specifications, focusing on integration mapping and product configuration. Research and recommend custom solutions to resolve client issues and interpret business needs into application configurations. Drive process and productivity improvements based on analysis of current processes versus system capabilities, defining ROI and aligning with operations and engineering teams. Ensure all customer and business process enhancement requests align with the core system scope. Experience with Agile methodologies, JIRA, and Confluence, including translating and analyzing requirements into epics and stories according to best practices. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
