The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure solutions to support efficient operations across WarHorse Gaming. Reporting to the Sr. IT Manager, this role researches and engineers improvements to system performance, policies, procedures, and tools while ensuring data security, backup integrity, and disaster recovery readiness. The IT Systems Engineer serves as a technical leader on infrastructure projects, driving long-term solutions that align with business needs. Key Responsibilities Design and implement infrastructure projects, guiding system initiatives from planning to delivery. Research and recommend improvements to the IT infrastructure to enhance performance, reliability, and security. Lead project teams in executing technology architecture components, ensuring solutions meet operational needs. Translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide detailed recommendations. Participate in purchase justifications, cost analyses, and contract evaluations for potential savings. Manage incident, problem, and change processes, including root cause analysis and resolution. Lead troubleshooting efforts for infrastructure systems, collaborating with vendors and internal teams. Develop and maintain documentation, including policies, procedures, run books, and architectural diagrams. Create scripts and code (PowerShell, Python) to automate operational tasks. Maintain systems at recommended security patch levels. Manage enterprise storage and virtual machine infrastructure. Document system configurations, processes, and service records. Respond to priority issues within required timelines based on severity. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience

Required: Must be 19 years of age or older Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification Minimum six (6) years of systems engineering experience Experience with SQL databases, VMware virtual environments, and Microsoft Windows Server in large enterprises Proficient in Active Directory, NTFS permissions, DNS, DHCP, and certificate management Extensive experience with automation tools, fault tolerance, and high availability technologies Expertise in enterprise-class storage and backup systems Expert scripting skills in PowerShell, Batch, and VBScript Ability to diagnose hardware/OS issues and optimize system setups Experience with enterprise-level Microsoft Windows system patching Strong technical documentation skills Knowledge of Exchange Server 2016+ architecture and cloud technologies Understanding of storage technologies including object-based storage, NFS, and fiber channel Preferred:

Valid driver's license Additional relevant certifications Work Environment & Physical Requirements Frequent use of computers, servers, and related IT equipment Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to secondhand smoke in gaming environments Occasional travel, including overnight stays Frequent standing, bending, and mobility for equipment installation and troubleshooting Schedule & Travel Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Evening, weekend, and holiday work required based on business needs Local travel required; occasional out-of-area or overnight travel Drug-Free Workplace
