The

Manager, Sales Analytics

– Walmart will play a key role in driving actionable insights through data analysis to support the company’s omnichannel growth strategy at Walmart. This individual will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on sales performance, as well as identifying opportunities for optimization. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, experience in both brick and mortar and ecommerce sales data and a passion for utilizing data to improve business outcomes. This role offers flexibility in location — you can work from our Corporate Office in Stamford, CT, or our Walmart office in Bentonville, AR.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting: Own daily, weekly, and monthly reporting cadence using Walmart Scintilla data. Analyze sales, inventory and shopper insights data to identify performance patterns and insights. Develop and maintain performance dashboards for internal and customer facing stakeholders. Analyze customer purchasing behavior and competitor performance to identify emerging opportunities and risks. Retail Media & Walmart Connect Analytics: Provide data-driven insights to support Walmart Connect campaigns and broader marketing investments. Partner with internal marketing teams and media partners to assess audience targeting, media mix, and campaign timing. Identify opportunity areas to improve customer targeting, conversion, and return on ad spend. Assortment & Category Captain Support Collaborate with Walmart category captains to support modular planning and category strategy development. Provide performance analyses to support item-level decisions, identifying underperformers, whitespace, and emerging trends. Strategic Analysis and Business Support: Conduct deep-dive and ad-hoc analysis to support business planning and identify new growth opportunities. Partner with cross-functional teams to support forecasting, promotional analysis, and product performance reviews. Translate complex data into clear presentations with actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders. Data Infrastructure and Reporting Automation: Ensure data accuracy and alignment across Scintilla and internal reporting platforms. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and build scalable data pipelines. Collaborate with tech and BI teams to implement tools that improve analytics capabilities. Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. Experience: Background in sales analytics, business intelligence, or Ecommerce analytics. Prior experience working with Walmart account teams and data platforms (e.g., Retail Link, Luminate / Scintilla). Experience supporting sales, category management, or retail media teams through data-driven recommendations. Strong experience leveraging Scintilla to support Walmart account strategy through data-driven insights; additional familiarity with syndicated data sources (e.g., Circana, Nielsen) is preferred. Skills: Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and Excel. Familiarity with marketing and retail media analytics, including Walmart Connect campaign performance. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable business strategies. Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Mindset: Detail-oriented, results-driven, and able to work with large datasets. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions. Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Environmental Factors:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time. This role requires on-site presence Monday through Thursday for our Stamford CT office, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere on Fridays. What we offer:
