Job Description:
Under the direction of a Medical Group Executive Director or Market VP, the Practice Director provides effective leadership and creates a culture of accountability for Medical Group operations including excellence in patient and caregiver safety, quality assurance of care, patient experience, equity, patient access to care, financial stewardship, caregiver engagement, and growth.
Essential Functions
Responsible for leading medical group operations for assigned clinics within the designated market.
Develops and manages budgets, reviews, and analyzes management reports.
Supports the development of proposals and business cases aligned with strategic goals. Partners with other leaders to respond to market threats.
Provides guidance and growth opportunities for team members, fostering mentorship and professional development.
Ensures compliance with organizational policies and stays updated on current issues and trends.
Inspires high standards of care while maintaining productivity ratios.
Influences reports to meet Medical Group goals.
May support physician and APP performance management and recruitment.
May have regional service line responsibilities alongside operational duties.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or relevant field required.
At least three years of healthcare leadership or practice management experience.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and database applications.
Master’s degree in healthcare or related field preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to see, read, and assess information and equipment.
Frequent verbal communication with colleagues, patients, and visitors.
Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment and computer use.
