Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Senior Compliance Engineer will be involved in reading and implementing test standards and testing Connectivity consumer products; Generates test plan, initiate test set up, monitoring of test data and report writing. Additional duties include generation of quality procedures and work instructions, design and implementation of test fixtures, acquiring lab equipment and obtaining and maintaining accreditations JOB FUNCTIONS Generate test plan, initiate test set up, monitoring of test data Review design against current standards (ISTA/ASTM/UL/ CSA /EN / IEC, etc ) Test to current standards (ISTA/ASTM/UL/ CSA /EN / IEC, etc ) and implement new standards as needed Write test procedure (SOP) for all implemented standards. Work with clients to set up customer specific test plans and modify as needed Train technicians on day to day testing once set up is complete Perform routine operation, maintenance, calibration, qualification, and trouble-shooting of laboratory equipment and instruments Generate reports based on review and test data Qualifications: Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor's in Engineering and 7+ years of experience OR a combination of equivalent relevant engineering testing experience and education - Required Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering - Preferred LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS Licensed Professional Engineer KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES Language Skills: English - Advanced level Mathematical Skills: Advanced level Reasoning Skills/Abilities: Advanced level Knowledge of international standards IEC/EN/UL/CSA 62368-1, 61010-1, 60335-1 Membership and involvement with Standards Technical Panel or Committee writing standards in organizations such UL, CSA, IEC, IES. Familiarity with Quality Management System, ISO 17025, government, industry and other regulations, standards, and methodologies Pay Range: $95,000-$130,000/ year Additional Information Benefits Competitive salary.
