Dungarvin is hiring a Program Director.
As a Program Director, you will oversee and be responsible for coordinating and managing the overall assigned program(s) related to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities and/or mental health diagnoses. This position involves both direct care and supervisory duties. Why This Role: Personal fulfillment, meaningful career, and the chance to make a difference Build meaningful bonds with persons served and their families Develop your leadership experience in the social service field Varied day-to-day experiences; no two days are the same What You Will Do: Personnel management and program coordination, including staff orientation and ongoing training Monitor all aspects of the program, including developing individual goals and plans, and implementing the program Manage overall operations, including medical, financial, and maintenance aspects, through guiding the site designee Provide leadership and team building with staff Ensure quality services aligned with person-centered practices, licensing, and organizational expectations Provide direct care at programs as needed Qualifications
What Makes You a Great Fit: Commitment to creating a respectful and collaborative environment Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred At least 1 year of full-time direct experience working with individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities At least 2 years of management experience working with developmentally or intellectually disabled populations Candidates without a bachelor’s degree may be considered if they have at least 5 years of direct supervision and management experience in human services Experience in developing and implementing individual programs, managing budgets, and supervising staff is preferred Strong decision-making, time management, communication skills; responsible and adaptable Ability to lift/transfer and provide personal cares to persons served Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance Additional Information
