Direct Persuasion is actively recruiting a highly motivated individual to join our dynamic and ambitious Republican marketing team in Washington, D.C. As a Junior Special Projects Associate, you’ll be a flexible, fast-moving contributor across client campaigns for political committees, national organizations, and faith-based nonprofits. Whether you're drafting last-minute copy, pitching in on a social graphic, or assembling a rapid-turnaround deck, you’ll help fill critical gaps and keep projects moving. This role is ideal for someone resourceful, creative, and eager to learn—offering exposure to digital fundraising, influencer engagement, and voter outreach in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Support the planning and execution of high-priority, cross-functional initiatives by coordinating timelines, task lists, and deliverables—often working across departments like marketing, ops, or creative
Conduct desk research, synthesize findings into briefs or summaries, and assist in preparing competitive analyses, trend reports, or project-specific deep dives to support data-informed decision-making
Help track KPIs, milestones, and progress on special projects by maintaining project trackers, updating dashboards, and preparing performance or status reports for leadership or stakeholders
Act as a point of coordination between teams by organizing meetings, taking notes, facilitating follow-ups, and ensuring alignment on goals, deadlines, and priorities across moving parts
Duties
Build strong problem-solving, project management, research, and communication skills
Gain exposure to multiple departments, leadership priorities, and high-impact business initiatives
Work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment and adapt to changing tasks or priorities as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
Passion for Republican politics
Background in marketing or advertising preferred, but not required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Ability to manage multiple task deadlines
Organized, flexible, and able to work both independently and with the team
