Osmose is currently seeking a
Product Manager
( Steel ) to develop and execute strategies to drive success for Osmose and its Steel Structure Services portfolio. Reporting to the Director of Product Management, this role oversees research, engineering, and technical development for new and existing products. Responsibilities: Generate and evaluate new product and service ideas that align with company goals. Conduct market analysis and assess business viability to support revenue targets. Develop business plans to justify startup costs and outline strategies for assigned products and services. Present plans to senior management, securing support and approvals for projects. Collaborate with internal teams to create training and implementation plans for successful product development and integration. Work with engineering and technical teams to develop clear product specifications. Partner with Business Development, Operations, and Contracts teams to implement and refine product specifications. Assist in developing project proposals and pricing models. Build and maintain external and internal partnerships to support products and services. Serve as the subject matter expert, engaging with customers and industry professionals. Provide expertise to support sales efforts and contribute to winning proposals. Attend industry events, participate in trade groups, and deliver presentations to enhance product strategies. Support other projects as needed to ensure the company meets financial objectives. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, or mechanical engineering, with strong technical acumen required. MBA preferred. Minimum 3-5 years of management experience, successfully launching new products. Familiarity with electric and/or telecom utilities preferred. Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to present confidently to customers and industry executives. Experience working with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Operations, and Contracts. Knowledge of software tools, modeling (finite element analysis), data analysis (SQL, BI tools, Excel), and productivity platforms. Self-motivated with strong character and leadership skills. Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours to achieve objectives. Commitment to company values, policies, and equal opportunity principles.
