Microsoft Silicon and Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) is responsible for Microsoft's expanding Cloud Infrastructure, powering the "Intelligent Cloud" mission. SCHIE delivers core infrastructure and foundational technologies for over 200 online businesses including Bing, MSN, Office 365, Xbox Live, Skype, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure, covering server and data center infrastructure, security, compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability solutions.

Role: Focused LAB Support Hardware Engineer Join the Azure SES and Cloud Hardware Infrastructure Engineering (SCHIE) team to support innovative projects in a fast-paced environment. You will work with diverse teams supporting designs in an R&D lab environment, ensuring lab operations are optimized, scalable, and capable of supporting growth.

Responsibilities
Support hardware, racks, networks, infrastructure, racking systems, and power distribution.
Maintain server racks, network connections, and infrastructure, including troubleshooting and repairs.
Assist with OS updates and Firmware upgrades (in-band or out-of-band).
Support liquid cooling solutions and monitoring.
Escalate issues and seek guidance as needed.
Monitor KPIs through reporting dashboards for performance management.
Develop understanding of cross-functional processes and support partnerships.
Complete required training promptly.
Mentor and support training of other technicians.
