Description
The Driver (CDL A) is responsible for the delivery of insulation products to job sites based on a provided schedule. This will include ensuring on-time delivery and professional interaction with customers at delivery sites. Assisting in the warehouse with production and moving materials and products may also be required.
Responsibilities:
Loads and unloads trucks of products and materials. Ensures truck maintenance standards are met. Performs daily pre-trip inspections and conducts minor maintenance as needed. Completes daily DOT logs in compliance with DOT regulations. Processes paperwork such as tickets and bills of lading. Ensures the customer signed the receipt of material and collects on COD charges. Verifies material counts are correct upon delivery to maintain inventory accuracy. Requirements
Qualifications:
Valid CDL (Class A) license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required. One year of verifiable experience driving a tractor/trailer or straight truck, required. Ability to lift materials up to 50 lbs. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider's requirements.
