Senior Python Developer

Role: Senior Python Developer with strong PostgreSQL and SQL experience Location: Santa Clara, CA – Onsite We are seeking a talented Python and SQL Developer to join our team and support the development and maintenance of our TDW. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience with strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Key Responsibilities and Technical Capabilities: Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Experience with PostgreSQL. Experience with web frameworks such as FastAPI and Tornado. Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL queries and scripts. Write clean, efficient, and reusable code. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance. Implement security and data protection solutions. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., BitBucket). Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies. Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Self-driven and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Write scalable code using Python programming language. Strong knowledge of advanced SQL. Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance. Develop and integrate Python APIs and user-facing elements into applications. Strong unit testing and debugging skills. Basic understanding of technologies such as Java and C#. Improve functionality of existing systems. Diagnose and resolve application issues promptly. Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and chat. Collaborate with development teams to identify and fix software bugs. Perform regular system maintenance and updates.
