The role: We are looking for a VDC Process and Fabrication Systems Manager to support and improve the production of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) deliverables across a range of VDC projects. In this role, you will work closely with VDC Managers, Project Managers, production teams, and clients to coordinate project work, communicate instructions, evaluate workflows, and drive process improvements. You will play a key part in guiding, communicating with, and supporting the production teams within a matrix-style structure. This position requires a strong understanding of MEP systems, construction documents, and BIM and VDC practices, along with solid organizational, communication, project management, and process improvement skills. In this role you will: Interpret work requests, design documentation, and project details to translate into actionable tasks for the production teams. Coordinate workloads and clarify scope, schedule expectations, and delivery requirements. Support project and production teams through technical guidance and troubleshooting, ensuring modeling and detailing standards are upheld and provide QA/QC review where required. Attend regular coordination meetings to track progress, share updates, and resolve issues. Develop and maintain Fabrication content and databases and Revit family and template libraries. Support and contribute to process improvements in workflows, documentation, and standards by designing and managing templates, automation tools, and documentation to enhance efficiency and QA/QC. Document and manage project workflows and deliverable tracking. Assist in onboarding and training of production team members as required. Maintain awareness of industry trends and contribute to internal knowledge sharing. Apply if you have: Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. 5+ years of experience with MEP trade contractors or general contractors in VDC, construction technology, or a related role. Strong proficiency with BIM and VDC software platforms, including: ACC, Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Fabrication suite (ESTmep, CADmep, CAMduct), AutoCAD, BIM 360, Bluebeam, etc. Deep understanding of MEP systems, construction documentation, detailing standards, and industry codes (e.g., NBC, ISO, ASME, or project-specific standards). Strong expertise in BIM and VDC processes, tools, systems, workflows, and process and value stream mapping and improvement. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and written and verbal communication skills. Proven ability to manage tasks across multiple concurrent projects and stakeholders. Ability to balance hands-on production support with strategic improvement initiatives. Even better if you have: Capability to coordinate across teams in a matrix-style organizational structure. Experience with formal QA/QC processes for VDC deliverables. Familiarity with Agile or Lean workflows in a construction technology environment. Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or other process improvement certifications and experience. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic team environment. Proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Compensation and featured benefits: The pay for this position is

$90,000 – $110,000 , and the role is eligible for bonuses. The actual salary offer may be different as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, location, and experience Health insurance with the choice of five plan options. We cover 70-95% of premiums for VIATechies and 65% of the premiums for dependents (depending on the plan chosen) Dental and vision insurance.
