- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (part-time hours considered) Holiday – 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), plus 2 days over Christmas/New Year, plus an additional day if your birthday falls on a working day. About the Tax Senior / Assistant Manager / Manager role We are TC Group, the fastest-growing top 20 accountancy firm in the UK. Our Rochester, Kent office is looking for a professional tax candidate to join their established team. We consider candidates at different levels and qualifications, including part-time applicants. This is a mixed tax role, involving advisory work for a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses and supporting the Directors of the tax team. We seek individuals with initiative to develop their careers and deliver excellent service in compliance and advisory areas. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the compliance team with personal tax returns Assisting with corporation tax returns prepared by the accounts department Managing a varied portfolio, including planning and advisory projects Preparing and reviewing capital gains tax computations and HMRC declarations Preparing/reviewing ERS and EMI returns Reviewing P11D forms, PSA calculations, and inheritance tax work Liaising with HMRC on enquiries Mentoring junior team members About you We are looking for candidates with: ATT or CTA qualification At least 5 years’ tax and/or accounting experience in practice Strong tax knowledge Proficiency with MS Office and CCH software (advantageous) Excellent organizational and communication skills Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines Motivated team player Benefits include: Group life assurance (4x salary) Hybrid working (post-probation) Long service awards Annual holiday increases after 5 years Social events Employee benefits portal Employee Assistance Programme Referral bonuses Ongoing training and development About us TC Group is rapidly growing, supporting UK business owners and corporations.
