Job Details Paper Excellence is hiring a Senior Project Manager, Construction. This person will support the Project Delivery Group to evaluate major capital upgrades/modifications to paper and board machinery and supporting equipment. This role will act as the global subject matter expert and support all capital projects ($10M to $700M). Responsibilities include project evaluation, scope definition, equipment design, vendor proposal evaluation, and overseeing installation and commissioning.

Role Functions

Work with the Project Delivery Group to evaluate major capital upgrades/modifications.

Support all capital projects ($10M to $700M), including project scope, equipment design, vendor evaluation, and overseeing installation and commissioning.

Provide technical advice to Mill Managers on technology footprint, cost reduction, and throughput improvements.

Advise on capital proposals, machine requirements, and vendor negotiations as a technology expert.

Introduce innovative technical solutions from the marketplace.

Use Business Review Meetings and KPIs to resolve issues early.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Paper Making Engineering; advanced degree is a plus.

At least 5 years of experience as a Paper Machine Application Engineer or similar role.

Experience with green or brownfield paper mill construction/rebuilds.

Experience working with OEMs and sourcing components globally.

Additional Details

Open to Canadians and authorized workers.

Willing to travel.

Salary range: $150,000 - $180,000 annually.
