Manage a wide range of commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts Conduct depositions, manage e-discovery, and oversee document review Prepare and argue motions Handle expert and fact witness discovery Collaborate with partners and clients to develop litigation strategy Draft pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence Attend court proceedings and arbitration hearings Engage in client-facing assignments and contribute to business development initiatives Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in general commercial litigation Some employment litigation experience is preferred Experience with depositions, discovery disputes, motion practice, and expert witness preparation Strong client-relations skills and ability to interact with clients at all stages of litigation Proven ability to manage multiple matters under tight deadlines Comfortable working independently and collaboratively Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school Certifications:
Admission to the Texas State Bar (or eligible to waive in) Skills:
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take initiative Familiarity with employment litigation is a plus Benefits:
