Security Engineering. The ideal candidate has
2+ years of work experience in
System Engineering Architecture/Design , 2+ years of work experience in
Information Assurance (IA)/Cyber Security , understanding of the discipline and practice of Systems Engineering throughout the system lifecycle phases of concept, development, production, use, support, and retirement, understanding of modern computing architectures including CI/CD, microservices, cloud, and container technologies and a background in software design. Bonus points
if you have a BS or MS degree in IA/Cyber security or Master’s degree in technical field, such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science, experience working on DoD programs, and understanding of RMF process. Even more if you have familiarity with
Cybersecurity Requirements Verification and Validation (IV&V) , NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253 RMF Analysis and Accreditation, Network Engineering, Communications Systems, Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) and a Security certification, such as
CISSP . Lastly, as we are working for the DoD, we are beholden to some requirements. The ideal candidate would already possess an active
DoD Top Secret level clearance
and
BS in technical field , such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science. An equivalent technical degree (such as MS in technical field, such as engineering, mathematics, physics, or computer science) or non-technical degree plus 2+ years of relevant technical experience may be accepted, contingent on customer approval.
