Engineers at any level can make a significant technical and business impact. Our focus is on distributed database systems and cloud services. We seek individuals with experience or interest in databases, distributed systems, and cloud services. There are always new projects, whether enhancing existing products or creating new ones from scratch. As part of the Cloud Services Development team, you will own software design and development for key components of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure, which serves as the centralized database store for Oracle Public Cloud. Skills that will help you succeed include: 10+ years of experience in delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems, and cloud fundamentals Familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and network architectures Deep understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage, and distributed persistence technologies in cloud environments Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills Experience with multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure is a plus Position Level: IC5 Qualifications Disclaimer:

Salary range and benefits are location-specific.

US: Hiring range from $96,800 to $251,600 annually, with potential bonuses, equity, and deferrals.
